Heroin worth Rs. 6 cr recovered from Raja Kandola’s aide

JALANDHAR: The district rural police claims to have recovered 1.2 kg heroin from the hide out of international drug trafficker Ranjit Singh alias Raja Kandola, kingpin of the Rs.200 crore drug racket indulged in the manufacturing and supply of  ICE drugs, the drug being served in rave and high society parties.

Inspector Inderjit Singh, IO said today that the recovery of the contraband was made at the instance of Kandola who was in the police custody for interrogation.He said that on the instance of Kandola the police took Kandola to the residence of one of his aides Harpinder Singh alias Rupa at village Jindowal in Banga of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar where he had been putting stay in the past.

The police recovered one Honda City car bearing registration number DL 3 PAQ-0300, one US made 12 bore gun (07 shooter) and documents of properties in huge quantity.Inderjit Singh said that the police was planning to visit Goa, Gurgaon, Gujarat, and Delhi where Kandola had resided after he was booked in the biggest international drug haul
