   CM nods 5 projects worth more than Rs. 340 crore for strengthening sewerage network and ensuring augmentation of drinking water in 3 districts

Haryana CM Nayab Singh approved 5 projects worth more than Rs. 340 crore for strengthening sewerage network and ensuring augmentation of drinking water in 3 districts namely Ambala, Hisar and Fatehabad.
An official spokesperson provided detailed information about the approved projects. In Ambala District, the projects include extending the sewerage network to 11 newly merged villages within the Municipal Corporation area, constructing a 1.25 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the existing site in Nayagaon, a 1.40 MLD STP for the village of Kanwla, and a 50.00 MLD STP for Ambala Drain at Devinagar in Ambala City. These initiatives amount to a total cost of Rs. 165.96 crore.
In Hisar District, the projects encompass arranging raw water from Barwala Branch instead of Petwar Minor in Hansi Town, under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative, at a cost of more than Rs. 61.44 crore. Additionally, a project for Adampur which includes the provision of a sewerage treatment plant and the strengthening of the existing sewerage system, costing more than Rs. 65.11 crore.
