Two time MLA from Banga and former president of IMA Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi, on Wednesday, assumed the charge as Chairperson of the CONWARE in the presence of Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Cabinet Minister of Punjab, at the Conware office in sector 17 here.
Dr. Sukhi reached the Conware office along with his family members including his sons, Dr. Sidhant Lochav & Dr. Nishant Lochav, and supporters.
After assuming the office, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for posing faith in him. Dr. Sukhi vowed to live up to the responsibility assigned to him, while assuring to perform his duty with outmost honesty, diligence and sincerity. He also emphasised on prioritising transparency and efficiency in the corporation’s functioning.
Extending heartiest congratulations to Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi, the Khudian expressed confidence that under Dr. Sukhi's leadership the corporation would scale new heights. He assured the Chairperson, on behalf of the state government, of full support for all endeavours aimed at the development works of the corporation.
