 Employment Fair in Panipat, Youth from Various Districts Receive Job Letters

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, December 16 –

To provide rural youth with employment opportunities aligned with their skills, an employment fair under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana was organized in Panipat on Monday by the Haryana cabinet minister, Krishan Lal Panwar, participated as the chief guest at the event.

Addressing the gathering, Panwar said, “Approximately 60 industrial institutions and 25 training institutes have been invited under this initiative to register young men and women interested in skill training.” He also announced a new initiative under the Mission, the establishment of a Migration Support Center in Gurugram, which will provide comprehensive support, including accommodation, Aadhaar registration, banking services, and information about welfare schemes for Haryana youth working in Delhi-NCR.

 Panwar announced the opening of shared markets in every district to help Self-Help Group (SHG) women sell their products and improve their living standards. He said that this initiative had already been launched in Karnal, with plans to expand it to Fatehabad soon. 

51,410 rural youth have been trained so far, and over 28,000 have been employed. Currently, 1,800 youth are receiving free training at 26 residential centers across the state.
