The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), a prestigious institution established in 1922 with the goal of providing quality all-round education and nurturing future leaders for the Indian Army, has successfully conducted the interview for candidates aspiring to join the College for the academic term commencing in July 2025.
The written examination held on December 1, 2024. Following this, an interview was conducted on April 8, 2025, at the Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Panchkula. The viva-voce of aspiring candidates was conducted by the State Selection Board under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Sh. Vijayendra Kumar. Other members of the board included Lt. Col. Saurabh Gupta, Major Chirag, and Dr. Ajit Singh, Joint Director of NCC (Higher Education Department).
A total of 18 students from Haryana who successfully qualified in the RIMC written exam participated in the interview session. The selection board has recommended the shortlisted candidates to the Commandant of RIMC, Dehradun, for further process.
