In an inspiring achievement, 8-year-old Harnaaz Kaur Kohli from Model House, Jalandhar, has earned a place in the India Book of Records with her extraordinary talent and determination.
A Class 3 student, Harnaaz created a remarkable record by spinning a hula hoop 50 times in just 25 seconds while hanging in the air with the support of a rod. For this achievement, she was honoured with a gold medal and a certificate of appreciation.
Apart from excelling in hula hoop performances, Harnaaz has also made a mark in skating. She has won 18 medals so far, including 12 gold medals, showcasing her dedication to sports at a very young age.
Interestingly, her journey began when her mother gifted her skates to help her stay away from mobile phone addiction. What started as a simple effort to encourage outdoor activity soon turned into a story of discipline, passion, and success.
Harnaaz now follows a rigorous training schedule, waking up at 5 am daily for practice and spending hours polishing her skills. Her hard work and consistency have played a major role in her rapid rise.
With her name already registered in the India Book of Records, the young achiever now dreams of bringing further glory to the country by entering the Guinness World Records and the Asian Book of Records in the coming years.
