A vibrant atmosphere of pride and celebration marked the 5143rd Foundation Day of the Agrawal community, held at Sector-17 Circus Ground in Chandigarh, where Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini attended as the chief guest. The grand event, organized by the All India Agrawal Maitri Sangh, witnessed participation from members of the community across Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and other northern states.

Addressing the gathering, CM Nayab Saini said that the history of the Agrawal community is filled with pride, dignity, and inspiration. He described Maharaja Agrasen as a symbol of social reform and equality, emphasizing that his principle of “one rupee, one brick” continues to guide society towards cooperation, self-reliance, and prosperity. He noted that from India’s freedom struggle to strengthening the nation’s economy, the Agrawal community has consistently played a leading role.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the central government’s initiatives, stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, schemes like Startup India and Atmanirbhar Bharat have opened new avenues for traders and youth. He added that Haryana is moving ahead with its “Viksit Haryana 2047” vision, promoting innovation through startup policies, MSME clusters, and investment-driven reforms.

On the occasion, Swami Sampurnanand Maharaj praised the community’s legacy of charity and dharma, while also expressing concern over emerging social evils and urging a return to strong cultural values. Event organizer Aseem Goyal called upon members to embrace Maharaja Agrasen’s ideals and connect the younger generation with their rich heritage.

Pandit Vijay Shankar Mehta underlined the relevance of Maharaja Agrasen’s values—non-violence, equality, and social welfare—in modern life. Several prominent dignitaries attended the event, reflecting the unity and cultural strength of the Agrawal community.
