The Under-17 girls team of Army Public School (APS) Ambala delivered a शानदार performance in the APS Football Tournament and emerged as champions after defeating APS Patiala 1-0 in the final match. The exciting clash was played at the newly built stadium of Tanki Junior Wing, where both teams displayed impressive football skills and fighting spirit throughout the game.

APS Ambala secured victory with the only and decisive goal of the match, which proved enough to seal the championship title. The team maintained excellent coordination and attacking gameplay during the tournament, earning praise from spectators and coaches alike.

Divika, who consistently impressed with her outstanding performance throughout the tournament, was awarded the “Best Player of the Tournament.” Her speed, control, and smart passing played a crucial role in the team’s success.

A wave of celebration swept across the school campus after the historic win. Students, teachers, and parents congratulated the team for bringing glory to the school. Coaches Manju Devi and Ravi Kumar said that the APS Ambala girls team will now travel to Jammu to participate in the Command-Level Football Competition scheduled from May 14 to May 16. Teams from various Army Public Schools are expected to take part in the prestigious event.

The coaches further informed that the Under-17 squad was formed after selecting talented players at the school level. Meanwhile, preparations have also been completed for the boys’ command-level matches, which will begin from Monday at the same ground in Ambala.
