Indian shooters delivered another strong performance at the 2026 Asian Games on Monday, with Himanshu Dhillon winning the silver medal and Rudrankksh Patil securing bronze in the men's 10m rifle event, adding to India's growing medal tally.
Himanshu finished second with a score of 252.4 points, while Rudrankksh claimed third place with 230.9 points. China's Sheng Lihao won the gold medal after registering 254.2 points in the final.
India also tasted success in the men's 10m rifle team event, where the trio of Parth Mane, Rudrankksh Patil and Himanshu Dhillon clinched the silver medal with a combined score of 1890.1 points. China secured gold with 1899.9 points, while South Korea settled for bronze with 1884.2 points.
The latest medals took India's overall tally at the Asian Games to six, with shooters accounting for five podium finishes. The remaining medal came in Mixed Martial Arts. India is currently placed 10th in the medal standings, while China leads the table, followed by Japan and South Korea.
