The Building Branch of the Chandigarh Administration on Tuesday sealed Sago Club, a popular nightlife venue associated with rapper Badshah, located in Sector 26. The sealing action was carried out at around 9:30 am following alleged violations of building regulations and non-compliance with repeated notices issued by authorities.

According to officials, the club management had been served multiple notices regarding violations related to building norms and deviations from the approved building plan. They were directed to rectify the deficiencies and comply with the prescribed regulations within a stipulated period.

However, authorities said the club failed to take the required corrective measures despite several opportunities. Following continued non-compliance and an unsatisfactory response from the operators, the Building Branch team reached the site and sealed the premises.

Officials stated that the matter had been under consideration for a considerable period due to alleged violations linked to the structure and approved building layout.

The club had previously attracted public attention after explosions were reported outside the venue. Responsibility for the incident was allegedly claimed through social media posts linked to gangsters Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara, making the establishment a subject of significant controversy.
