Acting promptly on intelligence inputs, Amritsar rural police arrested six people in two separate cases and recovered 8 kg heroin and 3 pistols along with Rs 30000 drug money. According to the information, in both the cases, FIRs have been registered under the NDPS Act and investigation is underway to establish backward and forward linkages. This information was given by Punjab Police chief Gaurav Yadav on his X handle. He claimed that as per the instructions of the Chief Minister, we are committed to make our state drug free.
