The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a major organizational change in Haryana by appointing Dr Archana Gupta as the new state president, replacing Mohan Lal Badoli. The decision by the party high command is being linked to BJP’s upcoming political and organizational strategy in the state.
With her appointment, enthusiasm has grown among BJP workers across Haryana. Dr Archana Gupta, a resident of Sector-24 in Panipat, has become the second woman to serve as Haryana BJP president after Dr Kamla Verma of Yamunanagar.
Until now, Dr Archana Gupta was serving as the party’s state general secretary. BJP national president Nitin Navin issued the official appointment letter on Wednesday.
‘Will Strengthen Party by Taking Everyone Along’: Dr Archana Gupta
After being named state president, Dr Archana Gupta said she would work to strengthen the party by taking everyone along. She added that the organization would continue working according to BJP’s policies and ideology.
Dr Archana Gupta was born in Atta village of Panipat. Her grandfather Suraj Bhan was a freedom fighter. She is married to Dr Anil Gupta, originally from Jind, who later settled in Panipat and works at a Hyderabad-based hospital.
She also runs the Archana Diagnostic Centre in Sector-11, Panipat, where she personally attends patients and supervises operations.
Focus on Performance and Organizational Strengthening
Dr Archana Gupta said she believes in giving her best and encouraging others to perform at their best as well. According to her, people should work with dedication and confidence, as only then can they expect the same commitment from others.
Party leaders believe her leadership will strengthen the BJP organization in Haryana while also promoting women leadership within the party.
Meanwhile, former state president Mohan Lal Badoli had led several organizational expansion drives and election-related campaigns during his tenure.
According to the BJP’s official appointment order, the decision has come into effect immediately. Political observers see the move as part of BJP’s new strategy in Haryana ahead of upcoming elections and organizational expansion efforts.
