Panic spread in Gurdaspur city after two reputed schools received bomb threat emails, prompting an immediate response from the police administration. Acting swiftly on the information, police teams led by SSP Aditya reached both schools and carried out an extensive search operation.
According to officials, the threatening messages were received through email, following which police and security agencies were put on high alert. SSP Aditya personally supervised the operation and ordered a thorough inspection of the school premises.
As a precautionary measure, every part of the schools was carefully searched. However, no explosive device or suspicious object was found during the operation.
Police officials said that the threatening emails are being subjected to technical analysis, and a cyber investigation team has also been deployed to trace their origin and identify those responsible. Further investigation is underway.
