The dates of Panchayat elections in Punjab have been announced. The Rural Development and Panchayat Department has issued a notification and approved it. These elections will be held between October 14 and October 20. A bill regarding Panchayat elections was also passed in the session of Punjab Assembly. In this regard, the state government has written a letter to the state election commission that the polls should be held in the state by October 20.
