Union Minister of State for Cooperation, Krishan Pal Gurjar, emphasized the importance of beautifying Faridabad, decongesting traffic, and removing encroachments along the national highways passing through the district. While presiding over the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting in Faridabad, he directed officers to actively fulfill their responsibilities. He also stressed implementing road markings on all district roads to reduce accidents.
The Minister further urged officers from FMDA, the Municipal Corporation, and other related departments to maintain high-quality standards in development works while adhering to government guidelines. He called for focused efforts to ensure cleanliness at all junctions and along roads, working towards realizing the vision of a “Beautiful Faridabad.” Additionally, he directed to plant trees along roads and dividers to promote greenery, closing illegal road cuts, and removing encroachments along highways.
Gurjar also directed the concerned departments to fence, construct footpaths, develop green belts, and enhance the beautification along both sides of the Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) and KMP Expressway up to the Kheri area. He said that photography and videography of completed projects should be done before releasing payments to maintain updated records.
