Newly appointed Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond on Friday assumed the charge of office in presence of his family.
Accompanied by his fathe Bhupinder Singh Sond, mother Sukhwinder Kaur and wife Kamalpreet Kaur, the Minister assumed office after performing Ardaas. Both his children Navraj Singh, Jaskirat Kaur and elder brother Ramanjeet Singh Sond were also present.
After assuming the charge, the Minister said that he was fortunate that the CM Bhagwant Singh Mann and party had bestowed this responsibility on him. Mr. Sond said that he will discharge the service with full dedication, honesty and responsibility to serve Punjab and Punjabis. He said that every effort will be made to give impetus to the progress of the state and prosperity of its people.
The Minister said that he will serve the state and its people will full zeal and dedication. He said that the state government is already making strenuous efforts to carve out a Rangla Punjab adding that no stone is being left unturned for this noble chase.
