Canada: Punjabi man sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his wife

The Supreme Court in Canada has sentenced a Punjabi-origin man to life imprisonment for killing his wife two years ago in Absford. According to more information about this, the other accused in the case will not get parole for 13 years. This incident of murder took place two years ago on July 28.

According to the information, when the police reached the spot, 45-year-old Kamaljit Kaur Sandhu, a mother of two children, was writhing in pain in the house. She had several axe wounds on her head and neck. Her husband, 50-year-old Inderjit Singh Sandhu, was held by the tenants. During the hearing of the case in the BC Supreme Court two and a half months ago, the accused confessed his crime in front of Justice Dev Dale. The couple has a son and daughter aged 23 and 18, who broke off their relationship with their father after the murder of their mother. Kamaljit Kaur was an employee of the Royal Bank of Canada.
