A car overturned on the road near Mahunag in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district on Wednesday morning one person was killed and two others were seriously injured.
According to preliminary information, the car suddenly went out of control near Mahunag and overturned on the road. Local residents rushed to the spot immediately after the accident and pulled the injured passengers out of the vehicle before taking them to a hospital for treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Mohan Singh Mehran. The two injured persons, Vineet and Chudamani, are reported to be in serious condition and are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Following the accident, a police team reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the circumstances that led to the crash.
DSP Karsog Chand Kishore confirmed the accident, stating that one person had died while two others sustained injuries. Police are investigating the matter to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
