CM Saini Calls the Budget a Historic Step Towards Self-Reliant and Developed India

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini has described the Union Budget presented by the Finance Minister in Parliament as a historic and visionary document that fulfills India’s resolve for a developed nation. He said the budget is guided by the spirit of public welfare and inclusive development, and will accelerate growth in Haryana’s industrial, infrastructure, MSME, bio-pharma, health, rural industries, agriculture, and sports sectors.
CM Saini highlighted that the budget embodies three key principles – Speed, Capacity, and Inclusive Growth. “Speed” refers to boosting economic growth by increasing productivity, “Capacity” focuses on enhancing people’s skills to contribute to the nation’s progress, and “Inclusive Growth” ensures opportunities and resources reach every family and region. He described the budget as a milestone in building a self-reliant and developed India.
For the financial year 2027, the historic capital expenditure of ₹12.2 lakh crore and the development of City Economic Regions will give a fresh boost to Haryana’s industrial hubs like Faridabad, Gurugram, and Panipat. The allocation of ₹10,000 crore for the MSME sector will create significant employment opportunities for the state’s youth.
CM Saini said the budget also strengthens initiatives such as the Khelo India Mission and the development of 15 archaeological sites, giving global recognition to Haryana’s heritage, including Rakhigarhi. Investments in AI and Quantum Missions will enhance Gurugram’s position as a global tech hub. The Digital Agriculture Mission is a major step toward increasing farmers’ income. Proposals for Startups and the Fund of Funds scheme will provide new opportunities for youth.
Women’s skill development programs and schemes like “Lakhpati Didi” will empower Haryana’s women economically. The budget also provides for textile parks, seven high-speed rail corridors, and the development of Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities with a total allocation of ₹11.4 lakh crore. Initiatives like One District-One Product will further boost local industries.
The CM emphasized that the Haryana government is fully committed to implementing the budget provisions on the ground and ensuring that every citizen benefits.
