Chandigarh Police on Monday carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 13 police officers with immediate effect. The orders were issued by the Office of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) on September 7, directing all concerned officers to assume their new responsibilities without delay.
According to the transfer order, compliance reports must be submitted to the SSP office within 24 hours. Inspector Ravdeep Singh has been shifted from Police Post-43 and posted as Assistant SHO at Sector-39 Police Station.
Inspector Chander Mukhi has been transferred from Police Post ISBT-17 to serve as Assistant SHO at Sector-17 Police Station, while Inspector Neeraj Kumar has been moved from Police Post-24 to Assistant SHO at Sector-34 Police Station.
Inspector Prem Singh has been transferred from Police Post Palsora to Police Lines. Sub-Inspector Naveen has been posted as In-charge of Police Post-61 from DCC, while SI Sunil Kumar has been shifted from Police Post Lake to Police Post-22. SI Mohan Kashyap has been appointed In-charge of Police Post Neelam after being transferred from EOPS.
SI Sanjay Dutt has been moved from Police Station-49 to Police Post PU Campus. Lady Sub-Inspector Babita Bai has been transferred from Industrial Area Police Station to Police Post BDC. SI Rahul Bhardwaj has been shifted from the Cyber Crime Police Station and appointed In-charge of Police Post-43.
In other transfers, SI Kuldeep Singh has been moved from Police Post PU Campus to Police Post-24, SI Baljit Singh has been transferred from Industrial Area Police Station to Police Post Lake, while another SI Kuldeep Singh has been appointed In-charge of Police Post Palsora after being transferred from Police Station-39.
The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and streamlining policing across various police stations and posts in Chandigarh.
