Says No Stone Will Be Left Unturned in Development
Waste Management Plant to Be Set Up in the City at a Cost of Rs. 8.37 Crore – Chief Minister

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the government believes in good governance and transparency for the development of every Haryanvi who wishes to contribute to building a strong, prosperous and self-reliant state. He said that no stone would be left unturned in the development of the state.
The Chief Minister was addressing a development rally in Kharkhoda on Sunday. He also laid the foundation stones of two sub-health centres in villages Sohanti and Thana Kalan of Sonipat district. These two development projects will be completed at a cost of Rs. 1.10 crore. The Chief Minister announced a series of projects for Kharkhoda and declared a separate grant of Rs. 5 crore for the development of the town. He announced the beautification of Thana Chowk and Delhi Chowk in Kharkhoda city, Rs. 8 crore for the main park and Rs. 3.50 crore for the renovation of the stadium. A waste management plant will be set up in the city at a cost of Rs. 8.37 crore.
The Chief Minister announced that a digital library would be built in the city. A drinking water project costing Rs. 26.46 crore is currently underway, which will be completed by December 2026. In addition, subject to availability of land, a rest house and a multi-storey parking facility will also be constructed. In the Kharkhoda Assembly constituency, Rs. 28.30 crore will be spent on nine PWD roads with a total length of 45 km. Similarly, six roads with a total length of 35 km will be repaired. A total of 42 roads with a length of 175 km and Marketing Board roads with a length of 31 km will be repaired under the DLP. Repair works of seven roads measuring 20 km are being carried out at a cost of Rs. 4.65 crore. The Chief Minister also announced the paving of 25 km of kachcha roads.
Addressing the rally, the Chief Minister said that as per the BJP’s manifesto, two lakh youth will be given jobs soon, out of which 34,000 youth have already been provided employment. A large number of job opportunities in the police and other departments will be announced in the New Year.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to the welfare of farmers, providing employment to youth, ensuring safety and self-reliance for women, a dignified life for senior citizens, and rights for the poor. With this vision, the government has given a new direction to Haryana over the past 11 years. He said that the government is fully committed to developing world-class infrastructure in Kharkhoda and is working continuously to realise this goal.
The Chief Minister said that development works worth Rs. 2,081 crore have been carried out in the Kharkhoda Assembly constituency during the 11 years of the government’s tenure. These include infrastructure development works worth Rs. 1,027 crore in IMT Kharkhoda. A mini secretariat has been constructed in Kharkhoda at a cost of Rs. 9.21 crore. He said that a judicial complex has been built at a cost of Rs. 6.56 crore, a 4.5 MLD capacity sewage treatment plant has been renovated at a cost of Rs. 4.54 crore, and the new grain market has been expanded at a cost of Rs. 1.65 crore.
Saini said that this land of soldiers and farmers has now emerged as a rapidly growing industrial hub in the NCR region. The area offers immense opportunities for the development of automobile, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics sectors and is becoming an attractive destination for businessmen and investors. In this direction, an ultra-mega automobile industry project is being set up by Maruti Suzuki in IMT Kharkhoda with an investment of Rs. 18,000 crore. Suzuki Motorcycle is also setting up an industry with an investment of Rs. 2,000 crore.
The Chief Minister said that the government is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. What has been promised will be delivered. The policy, intent and leadership of the government are clear. The BJP government is fully committed to fulfilling every promise. Out of 217 promises made in the Assembly election manifesto, 54 have been fulfilled within one year, while work on 163 promises is in progress. The government had resolved to ensure non-stop development in one year and is working at triple speed to achieve this goal.
Saini said that in its third term, the government is taking several concrete steps at triple speed to ensure comprehensive development of the state and safeguard the interests of every section of society. To provide economic and social security to women, the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana has been launched. So far, over seven lakh women beneficiaries have received Rs. 258 crore in two instalments.
He said that poor women are being provided LPG cylinders for only Rs. 500 per month to run their kitchens, benefiting around 14.70 lakh families in the state. Paperless registration of land and property has been started in the state, making the entire registry process fully digital. The second phase of the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana has been launched from Sonipat, with the objective of raising the annual income of the poorest families to at least Rs. 1.80 lakh.
The Chief Minister said that 1.56 lakh houses have been constructed and allotted under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to provide shelter to the poor. Under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana–Urban, plots have been allotted to 15,765 poor families in 14 cities, while under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana–Rural, 12,031 plots have been allotted in gram panchayats. He said that the government is working with farmer-friendly policies and all crops are being procured at Minimum Support Price. So far, Rs. 1.64 lakh crore for crop procurement has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of 12 lakh farmers.
The Chief Minister said that no poor person will be deprived of medical treatment due to lack of money. Under the Ayushman Bharat–Chirayu Yojana, free treatment worth Rs. 4,126 crore has been provided to 25.39 lakh patients. Free dialysis services have been started for kidney patients in all government hospitals and medical colleges.
