No compromise on quality in infrastructure projects- CM

In the meeting of High Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) and High Powered Works Purchase Committee (HPWPC) held under the chairmanship of Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini held here today, approval was granted for the contracts and purchase of various items worth more than Rs. 2330 crore. The negotiations with different bidders during the meeting resulted in savings of approximately Rs. 106 crore.
Cabinet Ministers Anil Vij, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goel, Dr. Arvind Sharma and Ranbir Gangwa were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, approval was also granted for the special repair of the remaining non-residential buildings at Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, Nalhar, in Nuh district. The Chief Minister was apprised that the contractor had left the work incomplete and the quality of the work that was completed was also unsatisfactory.
