Kaithal achieves recognition as the top performing district in Good Governance

On the occasion of Good Governance Day, commemorating the birth anniversaries of former PM late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and freedom fighter Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini presented three State-level awards, six awards for state flagship schemes, and District-level Good Governance Awards. These awards were given to various departments for their significant contributions in transforming the vision of ‘Digital Haryana’ into reality through effective governance. The awards were presented at a state-level ceremony held in Gurugram on Wednesday.
The officers of the Department of Housing for All were honoured by the Chief Minister for their flagship initiative, the Mukhya Mantri Shehri Awas Yojana (MMSAY). The MMSAY, which features an online booking platform available from February 1-21, 2024, has successfully sourced land across 14 towns, complete with essential infrastructure such as roads, water supply, sewerage, lighting, and green spaces.
