Punjab Newsline, Jalandhar/Chandigarh, July 2-

CM Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday did a road show in various areas of the Jalandhar West Assembly. AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat and thousands of people joined Mann in the road show.  Mann appealed to the people to make AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat win and said that if you make the candidate win, together we will make Jalandhar 'West' the Jalandhar 'Best'.

CM Mann's road show started from Baba Balak Nath temple of ward number-46. From here he went to many other areas including Ujjwal Sweets and Guru Sant Nagar of ward number-43 and Babulal Singh Canal of ward number-78.

While addressing the people during the road show, Mann targeted BJP candidate Sheetal Angural and said that this election was not necessary. This election has been forced on the people because the previous MLA turned out to be a turncoat and greedy. This election is happening due to his personal selfishness and greed.

Mann said that he has betrayed the party and the people here by leaving the MLA post. Due to his betrayal, crores of rupees are being spent from the government treasury in the by-election, which is the tax money of the people. On July 10, all of you should unite and give a befitting reply to his betrayal.

Mann said that the previous MLA turned out to be a cheater, but by the grace of God, this time we have got an honest and educated candidate in the form of Mohinder Bhagat. Make him win. Whatever Mohinder Bhagat says for the development of Jalandhar West, we will do it.

He said that the button of the AAP candidate is at number five on the EVM machine, but you have to ensure that Mohinder Bhagat comes at number one on the day of results.  He said that Bhagat's family has served the people of Jalandhar for the last two generations. Unlike the candidates of other parties, he has no involvement in business or mafia and neither is there any allegation of corruption against him.
