CM Announces to fill all the vacant posts of Punjabi teachers in govt schools

In order to further promote Punjabi language in the state, the Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday announced to fill all the vacant posts of Punjabi teachers in the government schools across the state on priority basis.
Addressing the gathering during a state level function to mark teacher’s day here today, the Chief Minister said that it is the need of the hour for further encouraging the Punjabi language. He said that the state government is duty bound to promote the mother tongue of every Punjabi and no stone will be left unturned for it. Bhagwant Singh Mann exhorted the students to speak and write the Punjabi language well so that they remain acquainted with their glorious heritage.
The Chief Minister said that a large number of posts are lying vacant in the Education department due to which studies are being affected. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also felicitated 77 teachers for outstanding services.
