Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will release the third instalment of financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Maawan-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana at a state-level event in Goindwal Sahib, Tarn Taran, on Thursday.

The programme will be held at Dana Mandi, Goindwal Sahib, from 12 noon, with senior government officials and other dignitaries expected to attend.

Under the scheme, eligible women from the general category receive ₹1,000 per month, while women belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category receive ₹1,500 per month as financial assistance.

The initiative aims to provide economic support to women and daughters across Punjab and strengthen their financial security. The third instalment will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries as part of the government's ongoing implementation of the scheme.

During the event, CM Mann is expected to share details about the scheme and its implementation and interact with beneficiaries. The district administration has also made arrangements for the smooth conduct of the state-level program.

The event is expected to bring together beneficiaries from across the state and highlight the government's efforts towards providing direct financial assistance to women.
