Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini congratulated the state's athletes for their remarkable performance at the Commonwealth Games, stating that Haryana has once again proved why it is regarded as the sporting powerhouse of India. Reaffirming the vision of 'Khelenge Haryana, Jeetenge Haryana' (Play Haryana, Win Haryana), the Chief Minister said the state government remains committed to providing world-class sports infrastructure, advanced training facilities, and every possible support to help athletes achieve international success. He added that Haryana’s sportspersons are bringing pride to both the state and the nation through their dedication, discipline, and determination.
The Chief Minister said the exceptional display by Haryana’s athletes at the Commonwealth Games has become a matter of immense pride for every resident of the state. He credited not only the players but also their families, coaches, and the sports department for this remarkable success. According to him, these achievements go beyond winning medals, as they inspire thousands of young people to pursue excellence in sports. He expressed confidence that Haryana’s athletes would continue to excel at the Olympics, Asian Games, and other international sporting events, further enhancing India's global sporting reputation.
Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that the Haryana Government is continuously working to strengthen the sports ecosystem across the state.
