Himachal Pradesh government will soon finalise the dress code for teachers and uniforms for students in government CBSE schools across the state. A distinctive colour scheme for the school buildings will also be decided.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while chairing a meeting with the Education Department, directed officials to complete the necessary process at the earliest. He said the dress code for teachers in government CBSE schools would be implemented from October 1.
The meeting also discussed the process of finalising a logo for the schools and various aspects associated with it.
To ensure discipline and punctuality among students, the Chief Minister said attendance would be recorded three times a day in government CBSE schools. He directed officials to make the necessary preparations for effective implementation of the system.
Sukhu said the state government was strengthening government CBSE schools to provide quality education to students in rural areas. He said students would receive CBSE education at affordable rates through these schools, while education in private CBSE schools was comparatively expensive.
