CM reviews progress with railway officials, issues necessary directions
Track construction completed, platform work underway – project to provide relief from traffic jams at five crossings in Kurukshetra

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the country’s second elevated railway track will soon be dedicated to the people of Haryana. He said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the country’s first elevated railway track was also constructed in Haryana, and now the second track has been completed.
The Chief Minister further stated that construction of the Thanesar railway platform is currently in progress. With the completion of this project, citizens will get permanent relief from traffic congestion at five level crossings in Kurukshetra.
The Chief Minister was addressing media persons at Thanesar railway station in Kurukshetra district today. Earlier, he reviewed the progress of the elevated railway track with railway officials and issued necessary directions.
On this occasion, Managing Director of Haryana Rail Infrastructure,Narendra Chumber apprised the Chief Minister that construction work at all five level crossings has been completed, and the remaining platform works will also be finalized soon.
The Chief Minister said that the construction of the historic elevated railway line in Kurukshetra has been made possible with the blessings of the Prime Minister. He added that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi and Union Minister Shi Manohar Lal implemented this project keeping in view the problems faced by the people of Kurukshetra. He said that the elevated railway track will not only accelerate Kurukshetra’s development but also make a significant contribution to the overall progress of Haryana.

Responding to a query from media persons, the Chief Minister congratulated and extended best wishes to Bhupinder Singh Hooda on being declared the Leader of the Opposition by the Congress.
