DGCA inspection of Sanjauli and Rampur Heliports was carried out on 24th and 25th June. DGCA team comprising of Alok Ranjan Assistant Director and Ved Prakash Prajapati Assistant Director inspected both the sites and reviewed all the pending observations of the last inspection which was conducted on 17th March 2023.
Dedicated manpower such as Heliport Manager and Safety Manager has been deployed at both the Heliports.Police, Fire personnel alongwith Crash Fire Tenders and Medical team alongwith Ambulance were in place at the Heliports. The DGCA team inspected the preparedness of the State Govt with respect to the Security, Fire and Ambulance Services for the operationalsation of the Heliports.All necessary prerequisites as per the Civil Aviation Regulations were also examined by the team.
The team will submit it's report shortly and it is expected that the State Govt will get the operational authorization for these two Heliports soon and RCS operations will take place from these Heliports.
