After remaining embroiled in controversy for a long time, Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh’s much-awaited film, originally titled Punjab 95, has finally been released on OTT platform ZEE5 under the new title Satluj.

The film is based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra and has been directed by Honey Trehan. It is produced by RSVP Movies and MacGuffin Pictures.

Apart from Diljit Dosanjh, the film features Arjun Rampal, Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder Vicky, and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan in prominent roles.

Speaking about the release, director Honey Trehan clarified that the version released on ZEE5 is completely uncut. He said that only the title has been changed, while the film remains exactly as it was originally made.

The release of Satluj marks the OTT debut of the much-discussed project, allowing audiences to finally watch the film after years of delays and controversy.
