A street cricket match was organized by UT Cricket Association and Chandigarh Police under the slogan 'Balla Ghumao, Nasha Bhagao'. According to information, the match was organized by PCA last night. Information and Public Relations Department Punjab D.PR. The XI defeated the team of sports journalists from Tricity by six runs. In this match, Adil Azmi of DPR team was selected as 'Man of the Match'. DPR team captain Navdeep Singh Gill won the toss and decided to bat first and DPR team added 59 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 10 overs. DPR's Adil Azmi scored the highest 21 runs. Apart from these, Randeep Singh scored 9 runs, Navdeep Singh Gill scored 6 not out and Amrit Singh also added 6 runs.
From the team of sports journalists, Sandeep Kaushik took three wickets and Gaurav Marwaha and Lallan Yadav took one wicket each. Chasing DPR's score of 60 runs, the team of sports journalists managed to score only 54 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs. Gaurav Marwaha scored 27 runs while Ravi Atwal scored 12 runs and Sanjeev scored 5 runs unbeaten.
