1991 batch IPS Officer Dr.Atul Verma appinted new Director General of Police of Himachal Pardesh.
This appointment comes after the retirement of Sanjay Kundu. Dr. Verma, who previously served as the Director General of CID, Himachal Pradesh, will now take charge as the head of the state police force in the public interest.
The notification of Dr. Verma's appointment was issued by the Governer of Himachal Pradesh with immediate effect. The order places Dr.Atul Verma in the Apex Scale Level-17 in the pay Matrix.
