Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted simultaneous raids at branches of Park Hospital across Punjab on Monday morning. In Patiala and Bathinda, ED teams arrived at around 9 am along with local police personnel and began searches.
During the operation, officials examined the hospitals’ administrative offices and documents. They also questioned officials associated with the hospital management.
The investigation reportedly covers financial transactions, tax payments and records related to claims made under government schemes. ED officials are also examining digital data stored on computers and servers, along with other electronic devices, billing records, bank account statements and related documents.
According to sources, the action may be linked to complaints concerning alleged financial irregularities or violations of regulations. However, the ED has not officially confirmed the reasons behind the searches.
It also remains unclear under which case or First Information Report (FIR) the operation is being conducted. Further details are awaited from the agency.
