Our lives are not only for ourselves but dedicated to the welfare of society and the country
Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh –
The wife of the Haryana Chief Minister and Vice Chairperson, Haryana State Council for Child Welfare, Suman Saini, said that for the continuous progress of society and the nation, every citizen should remain associated with service activities in some form or the other. Our lives are not meant only for ourselves, but should be dedicated to the welfare of society and the country. When every individual understands their responsibilities and contributes towards social welfare, only then can the nation become strong, prosperous, and developed.
Suman Saini said this while addressing the gathering on Maharaja Shoor Saini Jayanti celebration organised by the Saini Karamchari Welfare Association, Haryana Civil Secretariat, at Chandigarh today. She said that Maharaja Shoor Saini, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, and Savitribai Phule are true sources of inspiration for all of us. Through their lives, they showed society the path of equality, education, and justice. These great personalities worked for the upliftment of every section of society without discrimination. We should follow their thoughts, values, and the path shown by them. When we adopt their principles in our lives, positive change will come in society. This will also guide future generations in the right direction, enabling them to build a better, educated, and equal society.
Suman Saini thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he made the son of a farmer and a poor family the Chief Minister of the state. This decision is inspiring for common people, as it proves that with hard work and honesty, anyone can reach the highest position. She said that the Chief Minister is working day and night in the service of the people and is continuously striving for the development of the state. Rapid progress is being made in areas such as roads, education, health, and employment, and the state is moving forward.
She further said that a leader does not belong to any one community or section but represents the entire state and all 36 communities. The Chief Minister is taking everyone along and making decisions in the interest of all, which is strengthening the spirit of equality and brotherhood in society.
