A shocking murder inside a private school in Haryana’s Faridabad district has sent shockwaves across the region. A masked youth allegedly entered Saraswati Senior Secondary School in Sikrauna village and launched a frenzied knife attack on a female teacher, killing her after repeatedly stabbing her in broad daylight.
According to preliminary police information, the incident took place around 9:40 am when the accused entered the school premises and attacked the teacher, identified as Sandhya, with a knife. Witnesses said the attacker continued stabbing her for nearly 30 to 35 seconds, during which he allegedly inflicted 34 knife blows in just 32 seconds.
Sandhya collapsed on the ground in a pool of blood. When the school owner and principal, Dr Tejpal Sharma, rushed to rescue her, the attacker allegedly turned on him and stabbed him twice before fleeing the scene.
Police teams reached the school shortly after receiving the alert and rushed the injured teacher to Al Falah Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Victim Was Married After a Love Marriage
Family members said Sandhya was the daughter-in-law of Firozpur village. Her husband, Vicky, reportedly had a love marriage with her. The brutal nature of the attack has left the family and local residents devastated.
Principal Recounts the Attack
Principal Dr Tejpal Sharma said he was attacked while trying to save the teacher. He added that the assailant had already escaped before other staff members could reach the spot. The police were informed immediately after the incident.
Police Probe Underway
Investigators have learned that the institution is a senior secondary school up to Class 12. A female security guard was posted at the main gate at the time of the attack, and police are examining how the accused managed to enter the campus.
The suspected attacker is reportedly a resident of the same village, though police have not yet officially confirmed his identity. A manhunt has been launched, and officers are reviewing CCTV footage, witness statements, and other forensic evidence to determine the motive behind the murder.
The killing has raised serious concerns over school security and the safety of teachers on educational campuses, with residents demanding swift action and stricter security arrangements in schools across the district.
