Expectations rise from the third installment of Ajay Gnanamuthu’s franchise, Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles
Chennai, January 4 — The makers of director Ajay Gnanamuthu’s much-awaited horror thriller Demonte Colony 3 have released the film’s first look poster, creating strong buzz among audiences. After the massive box office success of the first two installments, expectations are high from the third part of the franchise.
Actors Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar will once again be seen in the lead roles. The film also features Meenakshi Govindarajan, Archana Ravichandran, Muthukumar and several others in important roles. Demonte Colony 3 is slated for a worldwide theatrical release this year.
Producer Sudhan Sundaram expressed confidence in the project, stating that the film is shaping up even better than expected. He said, “The beginning of 2026 looks very promising with Demonte Colony 3. Ajay brings great discipline to the process, never compromises on creative quality, and ensures timely completion. As a producer, it is exciting to witness this level of development.”
Director Ajay Gnanamuthu shared his excitement about unveiling the first look at the start of the year. He said that sharing the first look with the franchise’s fans feels special and thanked producer Sudhan Sundaram for his constant support.
Written and directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, Demonte Colony 3 brings back Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar along with Meenakshi Govindarajan, Archana Ravichandran, Muthukumar and others in key roles. The film’s production began in July 2025 and it is currently in the post-production stage.
