Former cricketer and actor Yograj Singh, father of Yuvraj Singh, has received relief from the court in a case related to alleged objectionable remarks against women. After his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by a Chandigarh district court, Yograj Singh approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court seeking bail.
During the hearing held on Friday, the High Court granted him bail in the matter. The case is linked to a viral video clip from the web series Lukkhe, in which Yograj Singh’s character was allegedly seen using derogatory language against women.
Controversy Erupted After Viral Social Media Clip
According to the FIR, a clip from the web series Lukkhe, released on May 8, 2026, went viral on social media, sparking widespread controversy. Complainant advocate Ujjwal Bhasin alleged that the video contained highly offensive and obscene remarks targeting women, hurting public sentiments and insulting the dignity of women in society.
