Kinnaur District Congress Committee president and former Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress president Nigam Bhandari has launched the ‘Chalo Panchayat Ki Ore’ campaign across the district, focusing on strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and establishing direct contact with people.

As part of the campaign, Bhandari has so far visited around eight panchayats, where he interacted with local residents, Congress workers and panchayat-level office-bearers. During these meetings, he listened to various public grievances and discussed issues affecting people in the respective areas.

The campaign is aimed at understanding local problems, strengthening the Congress organisation at the panchayat level and seeking feedback from workers on the party’s organisational strategy going forward.

Bhandari said the ‘Chalo Panchayat Ki Ore’ campaign is not merely a visit program but a continuous effort to bring the Congress organisation closer to the people. He said the party’s organisation can become stronger only when its workers and office-bearers remain consistently connected with the public and effectively raise their concerns.

He further said the Kinnaur District Congress Committee would intensify its public outreach programme in the coming days. Meetings with workers, direct interaction with residents and discussions on local issues will be held across panchayats to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Bhandari also called upon Congress workers to remain united and work collectively to strengthen the organisation. He urged party workers and office-bearers to remain connected with people and stand by them in their times of need as well as during their moments of happiness.
