Panchkula has witnessed a fresh case of alleged gangster intimidation, with several night club operators receiving extortion threats demanding ₹5 crore. The threats were reportedly sent through voice notes, warning the recipients of serious consequences if the money was not paid.

According to the messages, the gangsters warned that the next bullet would be "in their name" if the extortion demand was ignored, creating panic among club owners and business operators in the city.

Following the incident, the police administration has stepped up security outside the concerned clubs and deployed additional personnel to prevent any untoward incident. Investigation teams have also been assigned to the case, with officials using technical evidence and digital tracking methods to identify those behind the threats.

In recent months, night clubs, restaurants, and commercial establishments in Panchkula and nearby areas have reportedly been targeted by criminal groups involved in extortion, intimidation, and firing incidents. The recurring threats have raised concerns among the local business community.

Police officials said the matter is being treated with utmost seriousness and assured that the culprits would be identified and arrested at the earliest. Additional security measures have also been put in place to ensure the safety of club operators.

Investigating agencies are examining all aspects of the case, while police have appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious activity to help maintain law and order.
