Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday said the state government is giving wings to the dreams of Punjab’s youth by creating opportunities, financial support and institutional backing to help them innovate, start businesses and generate employment.

Addressing the ISB Leadership Summit-2026 at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali, Mann said Punjab’s youth possess immense talent and energy, and the government is focused on providing them with the right platform to turn their ideas into reality.

Congratulating ISB on completing 25 years, the Chief Minister said institutions like ISB play a vital role in shaping future leaders and entrepreneurs. He highlighted initiatives such as the Startup Centre, the ‘Business Blasters’ program and Schools of Eminence, where students are being encouraged to develop innovative business ideas with seed funding and support for patents.

Mann also invited industrialists and investors to invest in Punjab, stating that the government is working to make the state a hub of industry, investment and innovation. He said Punjab has the potential to become a major destination for startups, technology-driven enterprises and new-age industries.

Chief Minister urged students to think beyond conventional career paths and focus on creating solutions that generate value for society. He said leadership is about creating opportunities for others and solving real-world problems through innovation and entrepreneurship.
