Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday visited the Ladwa area of Kurukshetra district, where he interacted directly with residents during a ‘Jan Samvad’ public grievance program and listened to their complaints related to administration, social issues and development works.

During the event, an emotional scene unfolded when a woman broke down in tears before the Chief Minister. She alleged that a neighbouring farmer had illegally occupied the passage leading to her agricultural land. The woman said she had already submitted 19 complaints to officials, but no action had been taken so far.

According to the woman, her fields have turned barren due to the blocked access route and her family is struggling for survival. She further warned that if the issue was not resolved soon, she and her son would be forced to consume poison at the police station.

After hearing her complaint, CM Nayab Saini asked the woman to remain calm and immediately took cognisance of the matter. He reprimanded the Electricity Department XEN present at the programme and directed the SDM to conduct an inquiry into the case. The Chief Minister also ordered officials to register an FIR without delay and ensure prompt action.
