Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday visited Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Singh Darbar Sahib in Jurasi Khurd, where he paid tribute to Sant Baba Isher Singh on his 51st death anniversary.
Upon his arrival at the gurdwara, the head sevadar, Baba Mani Singh, presented the Chief Minister with a siropa as a mark of respect. During the religious function organised to mark the anniversary, Saini offered prayers and paid obeisance before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Chief Minister also extended greetings to the people of Haryana on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday and Vishwakarma Jayanti. Speaking at the event, Saini said that Sant Baba Ishar Singh played a significant role in spreading the teachings of Gurmat not only across villages and towns in India but also in several countries abroad.
Interacting with the media, the Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts towards the welfare of various sections of society. He said the Prime Minister has worked to empower the poor, strengthen farmers, and enhance the safety and welfare of women while contributing to the nation’s development.
Saini also highlighted the significance of Vishwakarma Jayanti, saying that Lord Vishwakarma is revered for his contribution to the creation and development of the world.
