CM directs expedited work on Apple, Fruit, and Vegetable Market in Pinjore and the India International Horticulture Market in Ganaur

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, while reviewing the progress of the Apple, Fruit, and Vegetable Market in Pinjore and the India International Horticulture Market in Ganaur, instructed the officers to complete the work within a specified time frame. Additionally, he directed that work should begin on the construction of Flower Market in Gurugram, which will provide Haryana's flower farmers with a major platform to showcase and sell their produce. The Flower Market is proposed to be constructed on 8.26 acres of land in Sector-52 A. Saini was chairing a review meeting of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board held here today.
The first phase of the Apple, Fruit, and Vegetable Market in Pinjore was inaugurated by Saini on July 17, 2024. With the establishment of this market, the apple trade has gained significant momentum. During the 2024-25 seasons, 71.67 lakh apple boxes arrived at the Mandi, compared to 32.28 lakh boxes in 2023-24. Additionally, a total of 93 shop plots have been sold, with an auctioned value of Rs 171.70 crore.
