Haryana declares three-day state mourning on the demise of former CM Chautala

There will be a public holiday in all state government offices on December 21 as a mark of respect to the departed soul

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, December 20-

Haryana Government has decided to observe three days of state mourning  on the demise of  former CM Om Prakash Chautala,  who breathed his last on Friday.

Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that during this period of state mourning the national flag will be flown at half mast throughout the state of haryana on all buildings where it is flown regularly. Besides this, all state government functions shall stand cancelled and there will be no official entertainment during this period.

The spokesperson said that the government has also declared December 21, 2024 as a public holiday in all state government offices as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

The spokesperson said that the state funeral shall be held on December 21 at 3:00 p.m. At teja khera farm, Sirsa.
