Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said India and Japan share a strong strategic and economic partnership built on trust, discipline, harmony, and commitment to excellence. Addressing the Indo-Japan Conclave in New Delhi on Friday, the Chief Minister said Haryana is rapidly emerging as the biggest hub for Japanese industries in India.
He stated that resilient supply chains and a next-generation industrial ecosystem can be developed in partnership with Japan, paving the way for a smarter, greener, and more prosperous future. Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh was also present at the event.
Inviting Japanese investors to expand partnerships with Haryana, Saini said Japanese technology and cooperation are playing a major role in several key development projects across India. He added that Haryana represents one of the strongest models of India-Japan cooperation, driven by investment, industrial growth, and technological collaboration.
The Chief Minister said nearly 394 Japanese industries and more than 600 Japanese business establishments are currently operating in Haryana, making the state the largest base for Japanese companies in the country.
Referring to his visit to Japan in October last year, Saini said nine leading Japanese companies had expressed commitment to invest nearly Rs 5,000 crore in Haryana. He said the growing trust and business-friendly environment are turning Haryana into a “Home Away From Home” for Japanese companies.
Highlighting cultural and emotional ties, the Chief Minister said the relationship between India and Japan goes beyond business and government partnerships, emphasizing the importance of H2H — “Heart to Heart” relations.
