Educational institutions, panchayats and private sports institutions can apply online till March 15

The Haryana Govt has started the process of preparing players for the Olympics, Asian and Commonwealth Games. For this, the state government has started Khel Nursery Scheme 2025-26. Players will be trained in the nurseries established under this scheme keeping in view the international standards of sports.
Giving information in this regard, a government spokesperson said with the aim of promoting sports in the state, the state government has invited applications from government, private educational institutions, panchayats and private sports institutions to set up sports nurseries. The nurseries will be opened in these institutions only for the sports included in the Olympics, Asian and Commonwealth Games. Interested institutions can apply online by visiting the departmental website. The last date to apply has been fixed as March 15, 2025.
The spokesperson further said the sports policy of the state government is considered the best in the country. For the past several years, the players of Haryana have been bringing more medals in international competitions than any other state.
