Haryana government on Tuesday carried out a major administrative reshuffle, issuing transfer and posting orders for 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 10 Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers with immediate effect.

According to orders issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, several senior bureaucrats have been assigned key responsibilities across important departments, including urban development, transport, agriculture and fisheries.

Senior IAS officer J. Ganesan has been appointed Director General (DG), Town and Country Planning Department and Director General, Urban Estates. In addition, he will serve as Commissioner and Secretary of the Citizen Resources Information Department and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the HCAPSD Project.

Mukul Kumar (IAS) has been posted as the Chief Administrator of the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), Panchkula. He has also been given additional charge as Managing Director (MD) of Gurugram Metro Rail Limited and Haryana Rapid Transport Corporation.

Meanwhile, Amit Khatri (IAS) has been appointed Director of the Agriculture Department, Managing Director of the Haryana Seeds Development Corporation, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN), Panchkula.

Rajiv Ranjan (IAS), who is currently handling the Labour Department, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department.

The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and ensuring effective implementation of key government projects and development initiatives across the state. More postings and departmental changes were also included in the transfer orders issued by the Haryana government.
