In sincere efforts towards achieving a TB free Haryana, and aligning with the national commitment to eliminate TB by 2025 as envisioned by PM Narendra Modi, Health Department Haryana launched a 90-day ICF campaign in all the districts of Haryana on April 7, 2025.
This ambitious initiative underscores Haryana's unwavering dedication to public health and its proactive approach to combat the menace of Tuberculosis. The campaign will focus on meticulous micro-planning at the district level to ensure comprehensive TB screening across the state.
Key Objectives of the Campaign:
Early Detection and prompt Treatment: To identify and treat TB cases promptly, preventing further transmission and reducing the burden of the disease.
Intensified Screening: To conduct widespread TB screening, particularly among high-risk populations and vulnerable communities like prisons, orphanages, diabetic patients etc.
Micro-Planning at District Level: To implement targeted strategies at the district level, ensuring effective and efficient screening processes, successful treatment, death prevention and TB preventive treatment.
