Haryana’s boys’ Kabaddi team clinched the gold medal in 34th sub junior National kabaddi championship

While the girls’ team secured the silver medal

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, March 31 –

Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister, as well as President of the Haryana Amateur Kabaddi Association Krishan Lal Panwar, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the state's players for their outstanding performance at the 34th Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship, held at G.D. Goenka Public School in Bodhgaya, Bihar. In the championship, Haryana’s boys’ Kabaddi team clinched the gold medal, while the girls’ team secured the silver medal.

Panwar praised the remarkable performance of the Under-17 boys’ team, which performed brilliantly and won the gold medal by defeating the SAI team by a huge margin of 54-41 in the final match. He also lauded the spirited efforts of the Under-17 girls’ team, which put up a strong fight against Rajasthan but narrowly missed the gold, settling for silver with a close score of 39-37.

He said that this historic victory has given Haryana Kabaddi another new position and has proved the hard work and dedication of the players.
